The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 主要是珠玉在前，相比类似的爱乐之城和咖啡公社，这个片子有些太文艺青年的自我感动。
太太太纽约了！太太太太好哭了！到现在纽约也是，扔个bagel能砸到仨儿一边端盘子打工一边追求梦想的年轻艺术家们。对应最后Jon的结局，tick，tick可能就是血管瘤的警告

70/100 是那种倾注了所有真实情感造就出的作品，只是其夸张的表现和旋律难以触动到我。

思考着后果，思考着退路，思考着回报，选择真的太需要勇气了。但除了未至的朝阳，还有黑夜里细微的星光。
老实说这一部在传统上并不是那种最后走向成功的电影，选择了拉森最失意的一个时期来拍摄，但是刚刚进入电影业界的LMM在镜头语言的运用上显然还并不算熟练，有一些地方因为太有舞台布景的既视感反而让我产生了一种“我要看这个为什么不去剧场看”的感觉，用一句话来说就是“全是真诚，没有技巧”。

加菲的演技有点尬住，但是他太真诚了，那双眼睛流起泪来很难不勾得人跟他一起心碎。音乐好喜欢啊。

AG还是更适合舞台，特写下的脸除了苦情再也没有别的情绪，但是肢体确实很好，传记片➕音乐剧片的设置也没有加分太多
LMM很有导演天赋耶，交叉剪辑玩的也是游刃有余，加菲的少年感活脱将Jonathan的才气演绎出了歌舞青春般的活力气场，宽街魅力与音乐剧生生不息的生命力，也在Jon短暂又热情的一生里被诠释得很具感染力，每个音符都像是他对而立之年的无情挑衅与热忱期待
Actions speak louder than words.
加菲的独角大戏，tick,tick是时钟走向三十岁的声音，而boom是渴望的梦想绽放的那个声音。结合音乐剧，戏中戏的结构，利用现实与想象的剪辑拼接出了一个戏剧人追梦的故事，但是音乐的洗脑程度和故事的共鸣程度都不如《爱乐之城》。
