The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 一个孤独女人的史诗，导演拍摄的风平浪静，科恩嫂却演绎出了情绪下的暗潮涌动。电影克制的恰到好处，是一部相当成熟的作品。
好舒服的电影，与其说是转述或呈现不如说更像是我偶然闯入了一个房间，一个人正在倾听另一个人讲话，不肖多时我发现我也想听。又像散文诗，被轻易地带进一个陌生而温暖的世界，里面有温柔的游侠和群居的篝火。那片土地上的治愈是真正从苦难里生出的花，你不用采摘，光是看见就让人也有所宽慰。

一首流浪者的赞歌，颇有传记文学的味道。弗恩就像是美利坚的缩影，自由、勇敢、独立、具有冒险精神，但是带着伤口上路的人也注定孤独和落寞。
风光与情绪，感受不到暖意的温度，无论黑夜、篝火、就连夕阳都是冰冷的。迎死之人，无依可靠，心里早已无所寄托，看清，也没什么重要的了。★★★★/8.3

谈不上喜欢。散、压抑。在路上是逃避，而其实人生最难的是面对，以及 放下。
期望过高，中国房车是富人的游戏，美国房车是穷人的家
有趣的是，片中讲到那些创造了美国的伟大精神，先进沦为边缘，无依无靠，而这样一个故事的叙述者，来自外来移民。
“献给不得不上路的人”。常常与浪漫联系在一起的房车里，有那么一群充满着悲伤、孤寂不得不在路上的人。
3.5 吾心安处便是家，若是千疮百孔的心灵呢，便成了无依之人。她路过一段段的人生，所有的情绪都若即若离，无法融入。从漫无目的的孤身上路，到轻装上阵的再次出发，也许完成了自我和解吧
《无依之地》，如果没有潜在的感情线，追随自由和死去的丈夫的约定，就更像人一生的荒芜了。
时代之殇，人如何和丧失共处？
不过台词中的说教意味有些浓，情节之间不是很连贯，导致看的时候并没有多少共鸣。
